The Pink City of India - Jaipur

Jaipur which is also known as the Pink City is the capital of Rajasthan and it’s a busy place with a huge tourism base. It’s one of the youngest cities in India but it has a rich culture. The houses of this pink city were once painted in pink color in honor of the visit of the Prince of Wales at the end of the 19th century.

• Jaipur has many forts and palaces that have charming and historic architecture that makes anyone fall in love with the city.
• It has some really nice scenic places to visit such as Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, Amber Fort, Jaipur Zoo, Birla Mandir, Jantar Mantar, Patrika Gate, Jal Mahal, and many more.

However, now they look pink-orange. Not just these, this city looks beautiful with several lakes that add to its charm. Because of its mesmerizing views, it is called ‘Paris of East’ but yes “Pink City” has more significance.
